The Life of the Buffalo Soldiers

All grades allowed but it is recommended for Texas History and American History classes.
This event features the legacy and history of the contributions by the African American Cavalry and Infantry Regiments. The "Texas Story" of the 9th Calvary and 24th and 25th Infantry is an important part of this historical event.
This event is presented by the George Bush Library Education Department.
There will be 2 sessions via videoconference. Your district must be a member of your regional education service center's distance learning service.

Most sites will be "View Only". To be considered an "interactive" site, the team from the Buffalo Soldiers would like for you to submit questions prior to the event on the registration form. These will be due by February 10th. Interactive sites with questions chosen will be notified by February 15th.
