Welcome to Distance Learning at ESC Region VI!

This website will be used to help you find distance learning opportunities for your classroom and for professional development. It is our hope to help the educators in Region VI to use distance learning technology in their classrooms to get kids excited about learning. We also hope to provide educators with quality professional development opportunites in a non-traditional manner that will help save time and money for the districts.

The videoconferences tab will have links for all kinds of programs. These programs include virtual field trips to places like NASA as well as student collaborations where kids present to each other. There will also be links for professional development opportunites delivered via videoconferencing.
